"Baikal"
A postcard-sized portrait with a powerful presence.
"Baikal" is part of my Little Big Cat series and will be donated to The Big Cat Sanctuary.
Named after one of their resident white tigers, this rare beauty is painted with realism and respect for a species that now survives only in captivity.

"Schnoodle and Woody"
Two cockapoos, side by side and full of hope, eyes locked on the promise of a treat.
This commissioned double portrait captures that classic pupster moment of anticipation — all fluff, focus and quiet determination. A joyful commission that celebrates the bond between these curly-eared companions and their well-trained hoomans.

"Praying for Kelp"
The sea otter is an endangered keystone species, shaping the wild beneath the waves.
By preying on sea urchins, he protects the kelp forests that cradle marine life.
Paws pressed together, he floats as if in prayer.
In his survival, an underwater forest thrives. In his presence, an ocean survives.

"Silent Bond"
Her gaze was enough – looking toward us but not quite at us, as if we’re already losing her.
“Silent Bond” captures the in-between space – not gone, not safe. It speaks of fragility and transition, of the unspoken connection between species, and the quiet responsibility we carry: to protect, to respect, to co-exist.

"Harmony"
Ring-tailed lemurs are a keystone species, vital for spreading seeds and nurturing forest growth, ensuring the health of countless other species in Madagascar.
The entwined pose of these very social creatures perfectly symbolises the harmony they bring to Madagascar’s fragile ecosystems.

"Train"
This portrait celebrates the legacy of a remarkable dog. Train's scent detection work protected entire ecosystems, influenced conservation policies, and earned him a statue in Parque Provincial Urugua-í, where he is honoured as a true hero.
But more than that, Train was the much-loved pup of his handler. They became an inseparable team covering thousands of miles together for conservation research.

"Everglow"
Do you see the little glow in the robin’s feathers? "Everglow" captures the beauty of a red-breasted robin, a much-loved visitor in my parents’ garden. In British folklore, the robin is often seen as a guardian of loved ones, adding a quiet, comforting presence to this piece. The soft glow of its feathers hints at the spirits of those we hold dear. It’s a quiet tribute to my wonderful Mum and Dad.

"Tigger Bounce - Scooby"
Scooby traveled the world doing important work for big cat conservation. From Africa where he sniffed for lion, cheetah, leopards, servals and caracals to Cambodia for tiger research and Nepal sniffing for Clouded Leopards.
Scooby’s enthusiasm was unmatched - he would bop up and down in excitement like Tigger whenever it was time to get to work.
Scooby is part of Rogues’ Gallery. This series of original portraits celebrates the lives and legacy of six wonderful conservation detection dogs.

"Freedom"
Looking at this Bald Eagle’s piercing, judgemental expression, perhaps serves as a powerful reminder that the wellbeing of nature rests in our hands.
