THE COMMISSION PROCESS
If you are interested in commissioning a piece of original art, I'd love to talk you. I believe a stunning portrait needs a story and so I'd encourage you to think about the story you want your bespoke artwork to tell.
My commission process has 3 easy steps:

SIZE - select a size to meet your requirements.

CONTACT - contact me for a no-obligation discussion about your portrait. We'll chat through the story behind your commission, the reference photo selection and any timing requirements you have. My portraits typically take about four weeks to complete.

PAYMENT - if you decide to proceed, a £50 refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. Once the artwork is complete, I will send you a proof to approve. Once approved, the final balance is payable by bank transfer. Your portrait will be delivered once payment is received.
One of the most important things is the quality of the reference photograph you provide. Good reference photos are:

Taken at the animal's eye level.

High resolution and show fine detail e.g. the fur direction should be clear.

Taken in good (ideally natural) lighting conditions and accurately capture the animal's eye and fur colour.
Don't worry if you are unsure about choosing your reference photo as we'll discuss this when you contact me and I will happily advise on the best option.
