There’s a particular tension in a jaguar’s stillness - that poised, breath-held moment before movement.

​

I wanted this portrait to sit in that space. The shadowed background allows the rosettes to emerge, the gaze holding yours just long enough to feel intentional.

 

Nothing dramatic, nothing theatrical — just quiet power.

​

Jaguars move through their world almost unseen, yet entirely in command of it. That balance of strength and restraint was what drew me to the subject.
